At some unknown point the corporations operating in the Wendig system decided to pull out taking all the Executives with them and leaving behind most of the workers to fend for themselves on a planet with a toxic atmosphere, who were then declared dead by an "industrial accident".
Rescue at last[]
Years after the Syndicate left the Alliance Fleet arrived in the system, while passing through the Fleet rescued the survivors from the only settlement on the systems only inhabited planet, Alpha, to deliver to safety in the nearby Cavalos system.
