Third Battle of Midway is a battle between the Midway Flotilla and a Syndicate Flotilla in the Midway Star system.
Prelude[]
After the safe recovery of the Reserve Flotilla survivors Kommodor Marphissa puts all of Midway's Warships into patrols around the system, keeping them ready for the next Syndicate attack.
While on sentry duty Manticore detects a lone courier ship with only one person onboard, CEO Jason Boyens, who brings warnings for President Iceni that a flotilla consisting of One Battleship, two Heavy Cruisers, Six Light Cruisers and ten Hunter-Killers was enroute to attack Midway, he also warms that the flotilla is under the command of a Snake CEO, Hua Boucher.

Aftermath[]
CEO Boucher orders a bombardment on the primary inhabited world in the Kane system, news of this event spreads throughout the region as a warning of what happens if they rebel, this backfires as the leaders of the Kahiki system rebel and ask Midway for protection.
President Iceni and General Drakon send some relief supplies intended for a hypothetical campaign into Enigma territory to Kane to help the survivors. The President and the General begin discussing long term plans for creating a coalition of local systems called The Phoenix Stars.
