Moorea Conflict is a brief conflict between Midway's Heavy Cruiser Manticore and Moorea's Battlecruiser Vengeance in the Moorea system.
Prelude[]
After detecting an Enigma ship jumping into the Iwa system while delivering surrendered soldiers to the Syndicate forces there, the Pele returned to Midway to report this sudden development with the enigma's to Kommodor Marphissa and President Iceni.
Following this and rumor's about a pirate queen taking control of some nearby systems, President Iceni order's the Kommodor to take Manticore to the Moorea system to establish contact with the people there and warn them about the Enigma's.

Aftermath[]
After making it back to the jump point for Iwa, Manticore manages to successfully escape the Moorea system.
thanks to Marphissa's use of the up-to-date Snake gear captured at Ulinidi, Imallye is able to secretly develop her own counter measure to the snake gear, allowing her to rebel against the Syndicate.
While passing back through Iwa, the Manticore finds and recovers three ground forces survivor's from the surface of the main inhabited planet.
