John G. Hemry, known by his pen name Jack Campbell, is the author of The Lost Fleet series and its two sequel series. He is a retired United States Navy officer and has written several novels and short stories under both his real name and pen name, such as the Stark's War series and The Pillars of Reality series. He is also married with three children.
