Invincible was a Battle cruiser in the Alliance Fleet and the last Battle cruiser to be named Invincible.

During battle against the Kick race, the Invincible alongside her neighbouring ships, were ordered to engage in evasive manoeuvres. However the belated reaction of Captain Vente in obeying that order, resulted in Invincible sustaining severe damage. Whilst it was ascertained in the aftermath that the weapons systems of the ship remained in good condition, the structural integrity and propulsion systems of the ship were critically damaged. In the absence of the major shipyards that would have been needed for a repair, the Invincible was emptied of her inventories and crew, including Captain Vente who had survived, before being scuttled through a power core overload. The working equipment of Invincible was not removed for use by other ships in the fleet prior to destruction due to a persisting superstition that equipment from a dead ship was bound to fail, and a reduction in morale such a use was predicted to cause.
