Heavy Troop Transport Units are the standard Troop transports used by the Syndicate Worlds to facilitate the transport of Ground Forces from system to system. Syndicate troop transports have no armoured citadels for their command decks or engineering stations. These ships are usually crewed by people who are considered unfit or untrustworthy for service on other mobile units like Hunter-Killers.
Unlike most Mobile units used by the syndicate the HTTU's use Active sensors instead of passive sensors, this allows for sensor scans to penetrate objects and even map underground installations.
