Haris was a Syndicate Worlds CEO, supreme leader of Ulindi system.

Biography[]

Supreme CEO[]

Haris was Ulindi's leader, and soon after Midway Revolution, he broken ties with the Syndicate Worlds, creating his own state, but keeping all Syndic administration, including the ISS forces, intact.

His first proof of his ambitions was the Attempt to Steal the Battleship Midway from Midway, but the plan failed and all units sent, a Battle cruiser and four Hunter-Killers, were destroyed or captured by Midway Flotilla.

As Haris regime only have two more warships, Midway's leaders, President Iceni and general Drakon, decided to strike back and put an free Ulindi. The general lead the invasion force. Only after beginning the Battle of Ulindi, Midway's forces discovered than both Ulindi's ground forces and space forces are much bigger than anticipated: in fact, Haris hadn't cut ties really with the Syndicate: he was merely a puppet to attract the bulk of Midway's forces to a trap.

However, the determination of Midway's ground and space forces was much bigger than expected, and the Syndic victory didn't promise to be easy. But the factor which determined the battle's outcome was Jason Boyens. The old CEO, which had defected to Midway soon before, informed president Iceni about the trap, and she sent the Midway, changing the space and ground battle's outcome.

Death[]

Knowing than the plan had failed, Haris decided to board a stealth shuttle and flee of the system, but not before detonating the nuclear warheads buried under every city of the planet. He was almost there when a section of the roof blown and fell over two of his guards. Over the section was Roh Morgan, Drakon's right hand, and she shoot him two times on the head, killing him instantly.

Roh managed to flee, and Haris body was probably pulverized when a Kinetic bombardment of the Midway levelled the secret command post, soon later.

Characteristics[]

Haris was a typical CEO, ruthless, ambitious and willing to do anything to progress in his career. He also lacked any real leadership abilities or talent, forcing him to heavily depend, even for the most mundane tasks, on his subordinates... who hated him. And Haris attempts to "motivate" them with executions and threats only worsened the problem, forcing him to do everything by himself. His only real talent was some creativity which he used to manipulate the truth in his reports to his superiors, to make appear every defeat as a personal success.
