Old Earth is an important planet in the Sol System. It is the birthplace of humanity and is completely de-weaponized. It is also a popular pilgrimage site and has a hypernet gate because of that.
The space between Old Earth and the orbit of it's moon Luna is considered a No-Fire zone, where weapons fire is not permitted under any circumstances.
