“ | No sir, I really don't think so. I don't think the fleet is going to want anyone knowing what I did and how to do it, because it was crazy, and it broke every rule, and by all rights those hell lances should've blown me to hell instead of hitting that Syndic | ” |
—Chief Magoro describing how she survived |
Chief Petty Officer Diana Magoro was an Alliance Fleet NCO serving aboard Heavy cruiser Ishigaki, and one of the survivors of the Heavy cruiser Merlon.
When she served aboard the Merlon Chief Magoro was briefly nicknamed "Gundeck Magoro", a nicknamed she hated and was thankful never followed her the rest of her career, while aboard she also committed several actions that required her to be disciplined and 'busted down' two pay grades by the ship's commanding officer, Commander John Geary, these actions included included Falsifying maintenance records and hacking system records. After surviving Grendel she took the lessons she learned from Geary's disciplining her to heart and became more of a model NCO, eventually making rank up to Chief Petty Officer.
Six years after Grendel Chief Magoro was assigned to a newly built Heavy cruiser, the Ishigaki, as a Chief Gunner's Mate under Ensign Rodriquez.

Characteristics[]
Before the war Chief Magoro was described as a disrespectful "problem child", willing to do things like falsifying maintenance records or hacking system records or getting chewed out for sloppy salutes, bearing and uniforms.
Six years later she became more focused on getting the job done right, only diving back into her old ways as a last desperate act of survival, she also had no problems keeping her uniform flawless and saluting sharply.
