C-875 was a large Mobile Unit stationed in the Kalixa system.
History of service[]
Very little is known of C-875's service in the Mobile Forces, it was stationed in Kalixa as part of the systems defenses.
When Kalixa's Hypernet gate began collapsing a merchant freighter began transmitting videos recorded by the Alliance Fleet at Lakota which prompted the commander of C-875 to turn her mobile unit's bow toward the gate and reinforced her shields, due to her distance from the gate the mobile unit just barely survived the destruction of the Kalixa system.
After jumping to Atalia C-875 encountered the Reserve Flotilla, after relaying what happened at Kalixa the flotilla turned towards the Varandal jump point intending on destroying the hypernet gate located there. After a brief battle with some of the Alliance forces left behind C-875 remained behind and captured some Alliance sailors from escape pods off of the battleship Peerless.
When the rest of the Alliance Fleet arrived the commander offered to trade her captured sailors in exchange for letting her crew survive, Captain Geary ordered the Destroyers Rifle and Culverin to make the pickup, while the crew of the mobile unit evacuated via the escape pods, the commander remained behind under the guise of luring the Alliance ships into a trap, instead she joined the rescued sailors aboard Rifle and requested to be taken prisoner, her ship was scuttled after the prisoners were safely aboard the two Destroyers as part of the guise to make it look like she when down with her mobile unit.
